Job summary

Wand is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET) to drive quality across engineering teams by designing scalable automated testing solutions. The role focuses on end-to-end UI testing with API testing, collaborating with developers and product teams to analyze requirements and ensure high test coverage.

Responsibilities include guiding teams on quality practices, improving testing frameworks, and exploring AI-assisted test generation and scalable automation techniques.

Qualifications

• Experience with UI automation testing tools (e.g., Playwright).
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript and/or Python, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into automated test cases and strategies.
• Design, build, and maintain automated tests for UI and API testing.
• Adopt AI-Native UI E2E and component testing approaches and guardrails.
• Review and improve test frameworks, tooling, CI/CD, and automation architecture.
• Coach and guide teams on test automation and quality practices.
