Job summary

Quanata, LLC is seeking an accomplished Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to build shared quality engineering platforms and automation frameworks. You will contribute to AI-assisted testing capabilities and integrate quality and security checks into engineering workflows.

You will collaborate with QA, Engineering, and Security to improve coverage, reduce manual effort, and accelerate feedback, while mentoring teams and shaping testing practices at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6–8 years of software testing experience with 3+ years building test automation frameworks or QA tooling.
• Strong Python programming and software design for shared frameworks and tools.
• Broad testing experience across APIs, services, UI, and platform integrations.
• Experience delivering reusable tooling and enabling adoption across teams.
• Cloud, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain shared automation frameworks and developer tools for QA and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with QA and engineering to validate functionality, reliability, and performance across layers.
• Develop AI-assisted testing capabilities and secure traditional testing workflows.
• Automate security testing for APIs and applications and validate fixes with Security teams.
• Integrate quality checks into CI/CD pipelines with clear diagnostics and documentation.
• Investigate failures in shared tools and drive adoption through documentation and mentoring.
