Job summary

Quindar is seeking a QA Engineer to help ensure space mission software reliability. You will own functional, integration, and exploratory testing for new features and evolving workflows, and contribute to regression coverage.

You will design test plans, maintain regression suites, test API and backend workflows, and work closely with product and engineering to define expected behavior and edge cases. AI-assisted testing and observability tools will be used to enhance depth and efficiency without

Qualifications

• Experience performing manual testing across functional, integration, and exploratory scopes.
• Ability to translate product requirements into structured test plans and cases.
• Experience using test management platforms to organize tests and coverage.
• Strong defect investigation and clear reproduction steps with expected vs. actual results.
• Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with browser dev tools and logs for troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own functional, integration, and exploratory testing for new features and evolving product workflows, while contributing to regression coverage for existing functionality
• Develop and maintain clear test plans, test cases, and regression suites based on product requirements and real customer workflows
• Test mission-critical workflows including contact planning, collision avoidance, task automation, and incident management
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects through resolution
• Test APIs and backend workflows in addition to user-facing functionality
• Embed closely with product managers and engineers throughout feature development to understand intended behavior, identify edge cases and ambiguous requirements early, and shape the testing approach before features are ready to ship
• Use logs, observability tools, browser developer tools, and other technical resources to investigate unexpected behavior
• Use automation and AI-assisted tools where they improve testing depth, repeatability, or efficiency without losing the judgment that comes from thoughtful testing
