Job summary

Quanata, LLC is seeking an accomplished Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to build shared quality engineering platforms, tools, and automation frameworks for QA and engineering teams. This hands-on role combines software development, security testing, and AI-enabled testing, with opportunities to mentor and shape testing practices.

You will design and implement reusable testing solutions, evaluate AI-assisted testing capabilities, and integrate checks into engineering workflows

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
6–8 years in software testing, including 3+ years building test automation frameworks or shared testing platforms.
Strong programming skills with Python and experience applying testing, code review, and maintainability practices.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and maintain shared automation frameworks and developer tools for QA and engineering teams.
Partner with QA and engineering to validate functionality across layers and ensure reliability and performance.
Develop AI-assisted testing capabilities and evaluate AI-enabled testing solutions.
Automate security testing for APIs and applications, collaborating with Security teams to verify fixes.
Integrate quality checks into CI/CD workflows with clear diagnostics and maintainable test data.
