Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Release Engineering team in Seattle. You will design and deliver large-scale distributed services that deploy OS updates across thousands of devices and analyze telemetry to detect OS-induced network issues.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and infrastructure services, mentor engineers, and help shape best practices while collaborating with Network Engineering, OS teams, and Developer Experience

Qualifications

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and large-scale distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and own large-scale distributed services on AWS that deploy new operating system versions across Amazon’s device fleet.
Build data-intensive software that collects device telemetry and applies ML models to detect OS-induced network anomalies.
Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and infrastructure for large-scale system testing.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, test, and deployment.
Mentor engineers and establish software design and development best practices.
