Qualifications

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of multi-component software systems across the full development lifecycle.
Own your team's architectural direction, making informed trade-offs between scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
Collaborate with engineers across related teams to align on system interfaces and deliver integrated solutions.
Mentor and coach engineers on your team and beyond, raising the engineering bar through code reviews and design discussions.
Evaluate and integrate generative AI tools and emerging technologies where appropriate.
