Job summary

Remitly seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer for the IHUB to scale funding and disbursement processing across regions. You will own delivery of features expanding the global pay-in/pay-out network, working with AI-assisted development to move fast while maintaining correctness and security.

You will mentor engineers, drive design reviews, and partner with Operations to resolve customer-facing problems worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years building, shipping, and maintaining consumer software products.
• 2+ years working with AWS cloud services.
• 1+ year leading features with multiple engineers.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate code construction, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own design and delivery of new partner integrations for pay-in/pay-out networks.
• Use AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery and ensure correctness.
• Deliver well-tested, observable, documented, scalable solutions.
• Own on-call, SLOs, and incident response for services.
• Mentor new hires through code review and ramp-up.
• Lead estimates and tradeoffs with PM; collaborate with global Ops teams.
• Represent the company to global partners and drive technical direction.
