Job summary

Remitly seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer for the IHUB to scale funding and disbursement processing across regions. You will own delivery of features expanding the global pay-in/pay-out network, working with AI-assisted development to move fast while maintaining correctness and security.

You will mentor engineers, drive design reviews, and partner with Operations to resolve customer-facing problems worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years building, shipping, and maintaining consumer software products.
• 2+ years working with AWS cloud services.
• 1+ year leading features with multiple engineers.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate code construction, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own design and delivery of new partner integrations for pay-in/pay-out networks.
• Use AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery and ensure correctness.
• Deliver well-tested, observable, documented, scalable solutions.
• Own on-call, SLOs, and incident response for services.
• Mentor new hires through code review and ramp-up.
• Lead estimates and tradeoffs with PM; collaborate with global Ops teams.
• Represent the company to global partners and drive technical direction.

In this role, you will own the delivery of features that expand our pay-in and pay-out networks globally, leading work against a backlog designed to expand our Global Network that powers all of Remitly's product offerings in creative ways. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
