Job summary
Remitly in Seattle is seeking an SDE 2 to scale funding and disbursement processing across global regions. You will deliver features for pay-in and pay-out networks, work with AI-assisted development, and help expand our cloud-based, resilient services.
You will collaborate with PMs and Operations worldwide, mentor teammates, participate in code reviews, and write technical specs. A CS degree or equivalent, 4+ years building consumer software, and AWS experience are required.
Qualifications
- B.S./B.E. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years building, shipping, maintaining consumer software products.
- 2+ years with services deployed on AWS.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate code construction, testing, and docs.
- Experience migrating legacy services to modern architectures.
- Strong Java or GoLang and database skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop new integrations for pay-in/pay-out networks globally.
- Deliver well-tested, observable, scalable, resilient solutions.
- Participate in interviews, code reviews, and mentoring.
- Collaborate with PM to estimate tasks and discuss tradeoffs.
- Partner with Operations to offer technical guidance to customers.
