Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to drive agile delivery across a complex federal data integration program. You will serve as the team's process facilitator and delivery enabler, managing sprint cadence, removing blockers, and ensuring seamless coordination across multiple overlapping workstreams and cross-agency stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and 8+ years of experience; advanced degrees replace years of experience as per policy.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• 8+ years as Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead.
• CSM or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience facilitating Agile delivery on federal IT programs.
• Strong sprint planning, backlog management, and velocity tracking.
• Experience managing risk and defect logs in a compliance‑gated environment.
• Experience supporting OMB/government demonstrations and briefing materials.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish interoperability conformance framework at project kickoff, defining API standards and data exchange requirements.
• Design end-to-end integration architecture spanning cloud data platforms, web apps, and data systems.
• Lead workstream management across project phases, identifying, sequencing, and resolving dependencies.
• Conduct compliance validation from a technical architecture perspective.
• Evaluate technical changes against platform constraints and escalate boundary violations.
• Lead the design of authorized API integration paths between source systems and the cloud platform.
• Provide oversight of production migration runbook and cutover execution.
• Develop Final Operational Playbooks with architecture docs on maintenance procedures and incident response.
• Serve as technical escalation point for complex integration, compliance, and architecture issues.
