Job summary

System One is seeking a Scrum Master to guide agile teams in a remote federal technology environment. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach teams on agile practices, partner with the Product Owner, and help remove impediments to ensure reliable, incremental delivery across multiple teams.

You will monitor delivery metrics, support release planning, and align work with HHS/EPLC governance while maintaining strong stakeholder collaboration and continuous improvement across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years supporting Agile delivery or IT modernization teams.
• At least 2 years as Scrum Master or Agile facilitator.
• Experience with Scrum events and artifacts.
• Experience coaching teams to address impediments and risks.
• Ability to partner with Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with federal IT governance and EPLC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum events and backlog refinement.
• Coach teams on Agile values and self-management.
• Support clear sprint goals and prioritized backlog.
• Identify and remove impediments; escalate as needed.
• Monitor sprint progress and risks using Agile metrics.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and release planning.
• Maintain Definition of Done and delivery artifacts.
• Promote data-informed retrospectives and improvements.
