Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead a high‑performing Agile team supporting critical database operations and modernization for a government client. You will facilitate ceremonies, protect the team from distractions, and act as the client point of contact to ensure alignment with mission goals.

You will coach team members, drive continuous improvement, manage risk, and collaborate with stakeholders to refine backlog and release plans.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master leading Agile teams.
• Familiarity with agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
• CSM or equivalent certification strongly desired; active secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Drive all Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews/Demos).
• Lead cross-functional teams of 5–10 FTEs with diverse skills and experience levels.
• Collect, calculate, and report progress metrics regularly.
• Lead work estimation/LOE activities maintaining focus on Sprint goals, quality, flow, and velocity.
• Ensure adherence to standards for code development, automated testing, version control, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps and schedules.
• Coach the team to embrace Agile values and drive improvements.
• Protect the team from distractions and blockers; serve as client POC.
