Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Scrum Master – Migration Team to lead application assessments and migrations within an Agile framework. You will facilitate ceremonies, drive backlog refinement with Product Owners, and guide technical teams through lift-and-shift, refactoring, or re-architecture as appropriate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Agile environments and technical project leadership.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent (SAFe, PSM).
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and migration strategies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate key Scrum ceremonies including PI, Sprint Planning, daily standups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Identify and remove impediments to maintain high-performing teams.
• Coach team members on Agile and Scrum practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize the backlog.
• Assess current applications, architecture, dependencies and performance.
• Evaluate migration risks and compatibility with new hosting environments.
• Develop tailored migration strategies from lift-and-shift to refactoring.
• Translate high-level goals into actionable tasks with timelines.
• Choose appropriate migration methods (rehosting, refactoring, re-architecting).
• Coordinate with other teams and ARTs for alignment.
• Track progress and report risks using Agile metrics.
• Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders at all levels.
• Work with Product Management to align migration with business priorities.
• Work with operations to ensure smooth handover of migrated apps.
