Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Sr. Scrum Master to lead a 24/7 production support team supporting AOUSC CMSO modernization efforts. The role requires strong Scrum/SAFe expertise and hands-on leadership of incident response and post-deployment stabilization.

You will coordinate with Product Owners, DevSecOps, and platform teams, facilitating standups, incident reviews, and continuous improvements in incident handling and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) plus 5–7+ years of Agile development and an operations/support environment.
• Experience using, implementing, and operating within SAFe with PI concepts and ceremonies.
• Ability to create, sustain, and enhance team dynamics and collaboration.
• PMI-ACP/CSM or SAFe Agilist (SA).

Responsibilities

• Establish operational goals and plans for the 24/7 team that support program objectives, incident SLAs, and stabilization targets.
• Coach the team and Product Owners on Agile practices tailored for incident-driven, support-focused work.
• Manage expectations with Product Owners, service owners, and stakeholders while balancing incident response and maintenance.
• Lead coordination during high-severity incidents and outages; facilitate incident bridges and communications.
• Facilitate daily standups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and incident review sessions; drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain JIRA and other radiators with visibility of incidents, defects, SLAs, and operational tasks.
