Job summary

GDIT is seeking a senior incident/operations leader to establish 24/7 goals, coach Agile teams, and coordinate during high-severity incidents. You will run daily standups, refine backlogs, and ensure visibility of SLAs using JIRA and radiators.

The role requires SAFe, PMP/CSM/PMI-ACP, and experience leading 24/7 production support. You will work across teams and governance structures to drive incident resolution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) and 5–7+ years in Agile development and operations/support
• Experience using, implementing, and operating within SAFe
• PMP Certification
• CSM or PMI-ACP Certification
• SAFe Agilist (SA) certification
• Demonstrated experience leading or working with a 24/7 production support team
• Proven experience coordinating incident response for production systems
• Strong facilitation, influence, and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Establish operational goals and plans for the 24/7 team that support program objectives, incident SLAs, and stabilization targets
• Coach the team and Product Owners on Agile (Scrum, Kanban/Scrumban, Epic/Story creation) tailored for incident-driven, support-focused work
• Lead coordination during high-severity incidents and outages
• Facilitate daily standups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and operational/incident review sessions
• Maintain JIRA and other information radiators with clear visibility of incidents, defects, and SLAs
• Identify and elevate risks, dependencies, and impediments impacting incident resolution
• Participate in cross‑team coordination and governance (e.g., Scrum of Scrums)
