Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Release Train Engineer to lead the Agile Release Train within the Case Management Modernization program for the AO. As Chief Scrum Master, you’ll synchronize several Scrum teams delivering cloud-based solutions in a Federal contracting setting and promote SAFe, DevSecOps, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in information systems; 8+ years as RTE or senior Agile PM for large programs.
• Deep SAFe/Lean-Agile leadership and value stream optimization.
• Experience coordinating 6–12+ Scrum teams under a single ART.
• Proven federal contracting or enterprise modernization Agile at scale.
• Expertise with Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, VersionOne for planning and metrics.
• Strong DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Agile release management.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure) and modern full-stack ecosystems

Responsibilities

• Serve as servant leader and facilitator for the Agile Release Train (ART), aligning with the CMM Dev modernization roadmap.
• Plan PI Planning, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and Scrum of Scrums to synchronize delivery across multiple Agile teams.
• Coach and mentor SAFe adoption across architecture, development, testing, and operations functions.
• Identify and manage program risks, dependencies, and impediments; escalate as needed.
• Ensure cross-team coordination and visibility of sprint objectives and milestones across ARTs.
• Maintain and communicate ART metrics to program leadership.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, System Architects, and Scrum Masters to align vision and roadmap.
• Drive continuous delivery pipeline improvement via automation, CI/CD, DevSecOps.
• Ensure compliance with federal Agile standards and SOW documentation.
• Promote transparency, accountability, and value delivery each PI.
