Job summary

Avenga is seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master who is ready to step up into a Junior Release Train Engineer (RTE) role. The ideal candidate has solid experience in a scaled Agile environment, preferably within an Agile Release Train, and can extend beyond the traditional Scrum Master responsibilities.

You will support coordination of multiple teams, facilitate cross-team collaboration, help manage dependencies and risks, and contribute to ART-level events and planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Scrum Master in an ART or other scaled Agile environment.
• Strong SAFe knowledge and scaled Agile ways of working.
• SAFe RTE or SPC training/certification, or extensive hands-on experience supporting an RTE.
• Experience configuring Jira Plans / Advanced Roadmaps and/or Structure is a strong advantage.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Genuine interest in Agile Leadership and the ability to operate effectively across teams at the program level.
• Confidence to gradually take on RTE responsibilities, supporting coordination, planning, dependencies, risks, and alignment across multiple teams.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master who is ready and motivated to step up into a 'Junior' Release Train Engineer (RTE) role. The ideal candidate has solid experience working in a scaled Agile environment, preferably within an Agile Release Train (ART), and is comfortable taking on responsibilities beyond the traditional Scrum Master role.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience as a Senior Scrum Master in an ART or other scaled Agile environment — this is a mandatory requirement.
• Strong understanding of SAFe and scaled Agile ways of working.
• Ideally, SAFe RTE or SPC training/certification, or extensive hands‑on experience supporting an RTE.
• Advanced knowledge and hands‑on experience with Jira configuration and Jira Dashboards — this is a must.
• Experience configuring Jira Plans / Advanced Roadmaps and/or Structure is a strong advantage.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• A genuine interest in Agile Leadership and the ability to operate effectively across teams and at program level.
