Acuity Brands, Inc. is looking for a Senior Release Train Engineer (RTE) to oversee the functioning of a newly forming Agile Release Train (ART). The role includes ensuring predictable delivery, facilitating PI Planning, and driving continuous improvement across teams.
With over 10 years of experience in Agile delivery, the ideal candidate will have strong facilitation skills, knowledge of SAFe RTE, and experience with Azure DevOps or Jira. This position offers competitive compensation and benefits.
The Senior Release Train Engineer (RTE) is the chief facilitator for a newly forming Software Agile Release Train (ART). This role is accountable for establishing and maturing the ART operating model, enabling predictable delivery, improving flow, and orchestrating Program Increment (PI) execution across multiple Agile teams and shared services (Architecture, DevOps, Security, QA, Product, etc.). The RTE partners closely with Product Management, System/Solution Architecture, Engineering leadership, and a Scrum Master to launch the train and drive continuous improvement. This role will report into the R&D Director PMO.
The range for this position is $104,000 to $187,000, with placement within this range depending on experience and geographic location. Acuity offers generous benefits including health care, dental coverage, vision plans, 401K benefits, and commissions/incentive compensation depending on role.
