Job summary

RTS in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Platform Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer (RTE) for Data & Analytics. This in-office role requires Day 1 onsite presence, with 4 days per week in the office.

You will lead a large, multi-team Agile Release Train, coordinating 10–12+ Scrum Masters across multiple products and workstreams, facilitating PI planning and senior stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in agile delivery, a Certified Scrum Master, strong SAFe experience, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in Agile delivery, Scrum Master or enterprise technology delivery roles.
• Certified Scrum Master certification required with strong hands-on SAFe experience. SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification is strongly preferred.
• Coordinating at least 10-12 or more Scrum Masters/Product Teams simultaneously across multiple products and workstreams.
• Facilitating large-scale PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync, PO Sync, System Demos and Inspect & Adapt sessions.
• Engaging hundreds of stakeholders across technical teams, product organizations, architecture, infrastructure, business functions and senior leadership.
• Resolving critical delivery risks, cross-team dependencies, impediments requiring multi-team coordination or leadership intervention.
• Owning ART-level PI execution, PI objectives, dependencies, delivery metrics, risk management and release coordination.
• Supporting Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, Cloud Data Platforms, Analytics Platforms or comparable enterprise technology platforms.

Position Title: Senior Platform Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer (RTE) - Data & Analytics

Location: Houston, TX

In-Office Requirement (4 days a week) No Remote-No Exceptions. Must start onsite from Day 1 and provide written confirmation for the same)

• 10+ years of professional experience in Agile delivery, Scrum Master, program delivery, or enterprise technology delivery roles.
• Demonstrated formal RTE experience or platform-level accountability for a large, multi-team Agile Release Train. Traditional team-level Scrum Master experience alone is insufficient.
• Certified Scrum Master certification required, with strong hands-on SAFe experience. SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification is strongly preferred; candidates must disclose their exact SAFe certifications.
• Proven experience coordinating at least 10-12 or more Scrum Masters/Product Teams simultaneously, managing delivery across multiple products and workstreams.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating large-scale PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync, PO Sync, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions.
• Experience engaging and aligning hundreds of stakeholders across technical teams, product organizations, architecture, infrastructure, business functions, and senior leadership.
• Proven examples of personally resolving critical delivery risks, cross-team dependencies, major impediments, and blockers requiring multi-team coordination or leadership intervention.
• Experience owning ART-level PI execution, PI objectives, dependencies, delivery metrics, risk management, and release coordination.
• Experience supporting Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, Cloud Data Platforms, Analytics Platforms, or comparable enterprise technology platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of data pipelines, databases, APIs, integrations, cloud services, and enterprise application ecosystems sufficient to coordinate technical dependencies.
• Experience coordinating across Cloud, Infrastructure, Networking, Security, DevOps, Architecture, Data, and Application teams.
• Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps, Jira, or comparable Agile delivery tools for tracking work, dependencies, risks, metrics, and reporting.
• Excellent large-group facilitation, executive communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to challenge delivery assumptions, drive accountability, influence without direct authority, and deliver measurable improvements in execution and predictability.
