Job summary

Precision Medicine Group seeks a senior scientist to lead protein expression assays on tissues and CTCs, designing experiments, validating methods, and testing samples. You will supervise laboratory staff, mentor juniors, and ensure SOP adherence while communicating results to clients.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, development of new procedures, and maintaining quality with attention to timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience in cell culture
• Experience with manual staining and automated protocols for multiplex Immunofluorescence
• Experience with Indica Halo or other digital pathology software
• Ability to prioritize tasks and function in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to organize and analyze data, and prepare reports
• Extended work hours may be occasionally necessary

Responsibilities

• Leads development and implementation of protein expression services for translational research
• Designs and performs experiments, analyzes and presents data
• Supervises laboratory staff to ensure quality, development and execution of projects
• Trains and mentors junior staff in cell culture and staining techniques
• Maintains SOPs and improves procedures; writes client reports and presentations
• Collaborates with management on timelines and budget monitoring
• Ensures safety, equipment qualification, and log maintenance
