Job summary

Precision for Medicine in Houston seeks a leader to drive protein expression assays on tissues and liquid biopsies, overseeing design, validation, and testing with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

You will supervise staff, develop SOPs, and communicate results to clients. A PhD with 6+ years or a Master's with 10+ years in lab settings is required; GLP/ISO knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent with extensive lab experience in protein expression and assays.
• Hands-on experience with cell culture, staining, and data reporting.
• Familiarity with GLP/ISO/CAP/CLIA standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of protein expression services for translational research.
• Design and perform experiments; analyze and present data clearly.
• Mentor junior staff in cell culture, staining, and data handling.
• Ensure SOP compliance and contribute to SOP improvements.
• Coordinate with management to meet project timelines and budgets.
