Job summary

10x Genomics, Inc. seeks a Senior Scientist for the Process Development team to develop, optimize, validate, and transfer new chemistries and production processes.

You will work with Chemistry, Microfluidics, Custom Plastic Consumables, and Assay Development teams to advance reagents and consumables to commercial launch. The role requires hands-on process development and cross-functional communication, with potential international travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

PhD in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry with 5+ years of industry experience.
Ability to integrate a broad range of scientific and engineering disciplines.
Skilled in designing meaningful experiments and analyzing results with statistical tools.

Responsibilities

Develop understanding of chemistry, microfluidics, and production processes to identify root causes of deviations and implement solutions.
Plan and execute experiments, maintain records, perform data analysis, and present results.
