Job summary

AbbVie in Worcester, MA is seeking a Senior Scientist I/II to advance analytical development of biologics, developing and transferring methods (HPLC, capillary electrophoresis) for CMC. You will mentor teammates and contribute to regulatory submissions.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD or MS with extensive Biochemistry/Analytical Chemistry experience; strong writing and communication; opportunities to publish and present at conferences.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with substantial biochemistry/CMC experience.
• Experience in development, qualification and transfer of analytical methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply capillary electrophoresis and HPLC methods for biologic process development.
• Qualify and transfer in-process control methods to QC.
• Provide technical support to QC testing at GMP labs.
• Lead analytical innovations and publish findings.
