Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with significant experience in bioprocess development.
• Thorough theoretical and practical understanding of own scientific discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, execution, and data-analysis for process development, characterization, validation, and continuous process verification for large-scale GMP cell culture processes.
• Identify and develop technologies to improve product quality and process efficiency for biologics manufacturing.
• Lead technology and process transfer activities to GMP scale across AbbVie’s manufacturing network.
• Solve technical issues and support GMP manufacturing of therapeutic proteins.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support CMC sections of regulatory filings.
• Author technical reports and validation documents.
• Interact with cross-functional groups and external collaborators.
• Preserve autonomy and productivity in laboratory research.
