Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent with extensive relevant experience.
• Masters degree or equivalent with significant experience.
• PhD and no experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, execution, and data analysis for process development and validation of GMP cell culture.
• Identify and develop technologies to improve product quality and process efficiency.
• Lead technology transfer to GMP scale across AbbVies manufacturing network.
• Solve technical issues and support GMP manufacturing of therapeutic proteins.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support CMC sections of regulatory filings.
• Author technical reports and validation documents.
• Interact with cross-functional groups (process development, analytics, manufacturing, quality, regulatory).
• Author peer-reviewed articles and patents and present at conferences.
• Data analysis or programming experience preferred for large data sets and model development.
• Highly autonomous and productive in laboratory research.
