Bristol Myers Squibb in Madison, NJ is seeking a Senior Scientist to provide expert bioassay leadership for the Cell Therapy portfolio, designing and executing advanced assays, analyzing complex data, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.

You will collaborate across cross-functional teams, support method transfer and validation under GMP, and mentor colleagues while contributing to continuous improvement and regulatory readiness.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline with 8+ years (or equivalent)
• 8+ years of analytical experience in GMP-regulated cellular therapy or gene therapy
• Hands-on bioassay experience including potency, reporter gene assays, and cell counting
• Experience with method lifecycle, transfer, validation and maintenance
• Strong technical writing for SOPs and reports

Mansioni

• Serve as SME for bioassay methods used in cell therapy drugs
• Design and execute laboratory experiments with proper controls and data analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize lab methods and protocols
• Present findings and progress updates to the team and support internal reports
• Support transfer of commercial methods and method validation per regulatory requirements
• Lead CAPA and deviation/investigation tasks and continuous improvement
• Mentor others in cell biology techniques and foster collaborative quality culture
