Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Scientist in Seattle to advance cell therapy safety in CAR-T programs within the Nonclinical Safety group. This lab-based role focuses on ex vivo and in vivo safety evaluations for pioneering cell therapies.

You will design experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings to project teams, contributing to translation of innovative therapies toward patients while collaborating across discovery, development, and safety disciplines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of academic or industry experience with CAR T-cell or cell therapy.
• Strong publication record and ability to present findings.
• Experience designing, executing, and interpreting in vitro functional assays for immunology or gene editing.
• Excellent laboratory skills in cell and molecular biology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to evaluate ex vivo CAR and in vivo CAR T-cell products and tackle toxicology challenges.
• Design and execute experiments to predict on- and off-target risks.
• Develop in vitro cell and tissue-based models and molecular assays.
• Communicate findings clearly to project teams with reports and presentations.
• Deliver on short-term project goals while driving innovation in safety evaluation.
