Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Principal Scientist to join the Cellular Therapy Translational Biology Research group in Seattle, WA, driving non-clinical development strategies across oncology and autoimmune indications.

You will conduct mechanism studies, biomarker identification, and data generation to support patient stratification and regulatory filings while mentoring junior scientists and coordinating collaborations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of academic and/or industry experience with a life sciences focus.
• Advanced degree holders preferred for senior translational biology work.
• Experience in non-clinical development and regulatory-facing data packages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead focused research projects with independent design.
• Plan and execute laboratory studies to inform clinical strategy.
• Lead non-clinical/translational data packages for regulatory submissions.
• Contribute to biomarker strategies and patient stratification approaches.
• Mentor junior scientists and coordinate external collaborations.
