Job summary

SystImmune is seeking a Senior Research Associate to join the Antibody Discovery Group in Bothell, WA. The role focuses on discovering novel antibodies for therapeutic development using BCR amplification, sequence analysis, and recombinant antibody expression.

This is a full-time onsite position requiring extensive molecular biology expertise and experience in antibody discovery. The team emphasizes safety, meticulous records, and collaborative lab work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience or master's degree with 3+ years of industry experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in recombinant antibody expression.
• Experience in antibody discovery and development is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Amplify BCR sequences from sorted B-cells.
• Select antibody candidates through BCR sequence analysis.
• Design, clone, and express recombinant monoclonal antibodies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure safety compliance, and contribute to lab organization.
