Job summary

SystImmune, Inc. in Bothell, WA seeks a Senior Research Associate to join the Antibody Discovery Group, supporting the engineering of novel therapeutic antibodies.

The role is lab-based, focusing on BCR amplification, sequence analysis, and recombinant antibody expression in a fast-moving biopharma setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s in immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry or related field.
• 5+ years industry experience for Senior Research Associate (BA) or 3+ years with Master’s.
• 3+ years hands-on recombinant antibody expression experience.
• Strong molecular biology background; knowledge of antibody structure, humanization, production and purification preferred.
• NGS library prep and BCR repertoire analysis a plus.
• Experience in antibody discovery and development desirable.

Responsibilities

• Amplify BCR sequences from sorted B-cells.
• Select antibody candidates through BCR sequence analysis.
• Design, clone, and express recombinant monoclonal antibodies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure safety compliance, and contribute to lab organization.
