Job summary

nLIGHT-DEFENSE Systems, Inc. in Longmont, CO is seeking a dual-hatted CSSO/FSO to establish and maintain the company's industrial and SCI security programs.

This role interfaces with DoD and government security officials to ensure full compliance with NISPOM, SCGs, and DD Form 254 requirements, while enabling secure mission execution. The successful candidate will lead security operations at Longmont and Camas, manage compliance, and support government reviews with a proactive, self-motivated

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FSO experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Eligible for U.S. DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage security programs for Longmont, CO and Camas, WA facilities.
• Lead day-to-day security operations for collateral and SCI programs.
• Serve as primary SCI security contractor authority.
• Interface with U.S. Government security officials and contractors.
• Manage personnel security clearance processes and indoctrinations.
• Plan and execute security education and awareness programs.
• Prepare for audits, inspections, and accreditation activities.
• Safeguard and handle classified information, access control, and secure communications.
