Job summary

nLIGHT-DEFENSE Systems, Inc. in Longmont, CO seeks a dual-hatted CSSO/FSO to establish, direct, and sustain the company’s security programs, including SCI and collateral security. The role interfaces with program managers, technical teams, and U.S.

Government security officials to ensure compliance with NISPOM, SCGs, and DD Form 254. Required is a DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one, with preferred candidates holding prior SCI experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years FSO experience required.
• Must be able to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Experience establishing and maintaining security programs and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain industrial and SCI security programs at Longmont and Camas.
• Lead day-to-day security operations for collateral and SCI programs.
• Manage SCI security for SCIFs and SCI spaces per DoD requirements.
• Interface with government security officials and contracting officers.
