The Lead Security Professional will oversee and implement DoD FSO responsibilities for federal contracts and SCI programs, directing multiple security disciplines and training staff to protect classified information.

Qualifications

• This lead security position requires DCSA DOD FSO experience and strong knowledge of NISPOM and related guidelines.
• Candidate should apply policies to develop and maintain a robust security program across DoD/SCI programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple DOD contracts through the full contract lifecycle.
• Provide oversight in Physical Security, Personnel Security, Facility Security, and OPSEC for DoD and SCI programs.
• Investigate security infractions and report findings to leadership and the customer.
• Ensure corrective actions and program improvements to prevent incidents.
• Collaborate with the Director of Industrial Security to document policies and train staff.
• Interpret government classification guides and educate supported programs as needed.
• Direct security operations programs to maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors.
• Advise on improving policies to comply with government and regulatory requirements.
• Develop methods to improve security policies and practices, and propose changes to management.
• Prepare and distribute written and verbal communications on security policies.
• Create and deliver specialized training for security personnel and others.
• Represent the organization in formal meetings with external organizations on security matters.
