Job summary

Clayco SEI is seeking a Scheduling Engineer to manage and maintain complex project schedules and baselines. You will analyze network logic, prepare monthly narratives, and ensure schedule integrity across multiple teams and projects.

Based in our Birmingham, AL office with nationwide travel, you will develop schedules from scratch for proposals and construction, and generate standard performance reports to support cash flow and project controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or related field.
• 10–15 years of scheduling experience.
• Proven knowledge of Primavera P-6 scheduling management system.
• Project management experience for general contractor preferred.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office and willingness to update skills.

Responsibilities

• Update project schedules and baselines.
• Maintain schedule baselines per policy and owner requirements.
• Generate performance reports (Critical Activities, Baseline Deviation, EV, cash flow).
• Load costs and resources; update actuals as needed.
• Collaborate with PMs, superintendents, and owners reps to keep schedules accurate.
• Develop schedules for proposals and construction projects.
