Job summary

WinterConstruction, based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Senior Scheduling Manager – Operations to lead scheduling across projects and mentor a team of Schedulers. The role requires extensive Primavera P6 expertise, a track record of managing complex schedules, and drive to uphold standards and improve processes.

The candidate will report to the Director of Scheduling or VP, align with project teams, and ensure on-time completions while identifying delays and pursuing time extensions as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of scheduling experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, including template and database administration.
• Experience with schedule delay analysis, time extension requests, and claims support.
• Experience training project teams and supervising strategized schedulers or other direct reports.
• Familiarity with BIM or 4D scheduling integration (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary schedules for preconstruction and project pursuits, tailored to each pursuit strategy.
• Lead Winter's schedule planning and review process for new projects, performing quality control reviews and tracking metrics across active schedules.
• Monitor project delays and support teams with time extension requests, delay documentation, and claims.
• Maintain scheduling standards, P6 templates, and databases, and develop training programs for project teams.
• Lead and develop Schedulers, and assess the scheduling skills of operations staff to support their growth.
