Orlando Health Medical Group – Interventional Spine & Pain Management is looking for a Sr. Scheduling Coordinator to support a high-volume multidisciplinary clinic.

The role focuses on obtaining insurance authorizations, patient scheduling, and coordinating with physicians, ancillary and surgical teams in a fast-paced environment. The position requires 3 years of clinical scheduling experience and a high school diploma, with an Associate’s degree acceptable as substitute.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Medical terminology and/or basic anatomy training required.
• Associate’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a clinical field may substitute for up to two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage department schedules.
• Coordinate scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations for tests and procedures.
• Communicate prep times, arrival locations, and patient information to patients.
