Job summary

HK Solutions Group is seeking a Lead Scheduler to own the master resource schedule for crews, equipment, and projects across service lines, including sewer cleaning and CCTV inspection. The role can be based in one of HK's offices or remotely, serving as the central link between sales, estimating, project management, and field operations.

Responsibilities include building the master schedule, assigning crews, leading weekly look-ahead meetings, and ensuring on-time performance across multi-state

Qualifications

• Five or more years of scheduling, dispatching, or operations coordination in construction, utilities, or field services.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple crews, projects, and stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with scheduling, dispatch, or ERP platforms.
• Experience with Primavera and cost-loaded schedules.
• Strong verbal and written communication and assertive schedule management.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the master production schedule across all service lines at daily, weekly, and monthly horizons.
• Assign crews and equipment to projects based on scope, certification, capability, and geography.
• Lead weekly scheduling and look-ahead meetings with operations leadership and project managers; publish a rolling three-week look-ahead.
• Monitor crew utilization, backlog, travel and per diem exposure, and production rates; identify conflicts and propose solutions.
• Sequence work around field constraints such as weather, permits, and municipal restrictions.
• Coordinate mobilization logistics including lodging, equipment transport, and materials delivery.
• Rebuild the schedule as conditions change and communicate revisions promptly to all affected parties.
• Coordinate with shop and fleet on preventive maintenance to avoid conflicts with scheduled work.
• Partner with HR and estimating to communicate staffing needs and confirm capacity for bids.
• Maintain and report scheduling metrics like crew utilization and schedule adherence.
