Job summary

HK Solutions Group is seeking a Lead Scheduler to own the master resource schedule for crews, equipment, and projects across sewer cleaning, CCTV inspection, and rehabilitation services. The role acts as the central coordinator between sales, estimating, project management, and field operations to maximize utilization while meeting contractual dates.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in scheduling or dispatching, strong Excel and ERP skills, and hands-on experience with Primavera.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of scheduling, dispatching, or operations coordination in field services or construction.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and projects with competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Excel and a scheduling/ERP platform.
• Experience with Primavera and cost-loaded schedules.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the master production schedule across all service lines.
• Assign crews and equipment to projects based on scope and geography.
• Lead weekly scheduling meetings and publish a rolling look-ahead.
• Monitor utilization, backlog, travel, and production rates; resolve conflicts.
• Coordinate with field operations on constraints and permits.
• Rebuild schedules due to delays and changes; communicate revisions promptly.
• Coordinate with shop on preventive maintenance to avoid conflicts.
• Partner with HR and estimating on staffing needs and bid capacity.
• Maintain and report scheduling metrics and process improvements.
• Serve as system owner for the scheduling platform.
