Job summary

HK Solutions Group is seeking a Lead Scheduler to own the master resource schedule across all service lines, coordinating sales, estimating, PM, and field operations. This role can be office-based or remote and focuses on maximizing crew and equipment utilization while meeting municipal and contractual dates.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in scheduling/dispatch and strong Excel/ERP experience, with Primavera familiarity and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in scheduling, dispatching, or operations coordination in field services.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple crews and projects.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with scheduling/ERP platforms.
• Experience with Primavera and cost-loaded schedules.
• Strong communication, organization, and detail-orientation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain master production schedule across service lines daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Assign crews and equipment to projects based on scope, certification, and geography.
• Lead weekly scheduling and look-ahead meetings with leadership; publish a rolling three-week look-ahead.
• Monitor utilization, backlog, travel, and production rates; resolve conflicts early.
• Sequence work around constraints like weather, permits, and municipal rules.
• Coordinate mobilization logistics including lodging, permits, and materials delivery.
• Rebuild schedules due to changes and communicate revisions promptly.
• Coordinate with shop for preventive maintenance and downtime windows.
• Partner with HR and estimating to communicate staffing needs and capacity.
• Maintain and report scheduling metrics like on-time starts and rework rate.
• Serve as system owner for scheduling platform and drive adoption.
