Matrix Project Services in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Sr. Scheduler to perform on-site project scheduling with detailed Primavera P6 development and maintenance. The role requires EVMS expertise and coordination across EPC activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of major project scheduling experience specifically in Primavera P6, including detailed planning of engineering, procurement, and construction work activities.
• Extensive experience with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management methods and their application to EPC schedules.
• Understanding of process systems, engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction planning & scheduling.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules with the Project and Construction Management teams.
• Assemble scheduling data from engineering, vendors, subcontractors, or others.
• Provide scheduling, resource, and progress measurement reports for weekly and monthly reporting.
• Supervise updating of construction forecast to reflect current plans and requirements.
• Interface with other departments to provide scheduling data for change requests, bid comparisons, and new work estimates.
• Provide supervision and on-the-job training to clerical and entry level personnel.
