Job summary

Dacon seeks a Senior Scheduler to lead the master project schedule for its largest substation and EPC electrical construction programs. Based in Deer Park, TX, the role drives baselines, enforces enterprise standards, performs risk analyses, and reports to executives.

You will mentor staff, defend TIAs and change orders, coordinate resource loading, and ensure schedule integrity across multiple projects, using Primavera P6 and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; 4+ years may substitute.
• 7+ years of progressive scheduling experience in electrical/substation/EPC environments.
• Advanced Primavera P6 proficiency; MS Project preferred.
• Expertise in CPM scheduling, EVM, baseline management, and risk analysis.
• Experience preparing TIAs and change-order documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own the master project schedule for large, high-risk projects from development through close-out.
• Develop baselines, scheduling approach, WBS, and coding standards; secure approvals from leadership.
• Develop and govern enterprise scheduling standards, templates, and reporting practices.
• Define and govern schedule performance measures including EVM and progress curves.
• Lead schedule risk analyses and recovery planning with project teams and leadership.
• Prepare TIAs, delay analyses, and schedule-based change-order documentation; defend in disputes.
• Coordinate integration of subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with contract requirements.
• Mentor and train schedulers; promote best practices across the organization.
