Job summary

Dacon is seeking an entry‑level Scheduler I to support development and maintenance of schedules for electrical construction projects in Deer Park, TX. Under supervision, you will update baselines, collect progress data, and prepare routine reports to assist senior staff.

This role builds foundational scheduling skills and contributes to on‑time delivery of substation and EPC projects. Requires an Associate degree with 1 year of scheduling experience and proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in CM, Engineering, or related field.
• 1 year of project scheduling or project controls experience.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain project schedules using baselines, templates, and coding standards under supervision.
• Collect progress data from field teams and enter status updates on a regular cycle.
• Prepare standard schedule reports, two‑week look‑ahead schedules, progress curves, and summaries for review.
• Maintain schedule logic and coding structures per quality standards.
• Assist with baseline schedule development and resource/cost loading as directed.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain sub‑schedule information for integration.
• Track milestones and flag discrepancies to senior staff.
• Incorporate changes and maintain version control of project schedule files under supervision.
• Generate exception reports highlighting critical issues affecting timelines.
• Support maintenance of project controls systems and documentation.
• Prepare schedule documentation for internal reviews and client reporting.
• Participate in kickoff meetings, reviews, and progress meetings as directed.
