Job summary

Dacon’s Deer Park, TX office is seeking an entry-level Scheduler I to support development and maintenance of project schedules for electrical construction projects. Under supervision, you will update schedules using baselines, templates, and coding standards and collect progress data from field and project teams.

This role builds foundational scheduling skills while supporting on-time delivery of substation, power system, and EPC construction projects.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; Bachelor's preferred.
Minimum 1 year of project scheduling, project controls, or related construction support experience.
Working proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
Basic understanding of CPM and baseline management; proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

Update and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project using baselines and coding standards.
Collect progress data from field supervision and project teams; enter status updates regularly.
Prepare standard schedule reports, two-week look-ahead schedules, progress curves, and summaries.
Maintain schedule logic integrity and coding structures according to quality standards.
Assist senior staff with baseline schedule development, resource- and cost-loading activities.
