Job summary

Vertex is seeking a Senior Scheduler to support our project teams by developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6, performing CPM analyses, and coordinating with clients and internal teams. The role requires extensive CPM knowledge, field construction exposure, and strong communication skills.

The Senior Scheduler will contribute to quality work products, assist in risk and claim analyses, and travel as needed to support client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 12 years of related experience or a Master's degree with at least 8 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 required.
• Strong computers skills including Microsoft Office.
• Field construction experience is required.
• Willingness to travel as needed and work in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage multiple project schedules using CPM scheduling.
• Review project documents and specifications.
• Create comprehensive schedules with CPM, resource and cost loading.
• Analyze critical path, cost loading, and milestones; support schedule-related issues.
• Assist in claims analysis, schedule delay analysis, and expert report graphics.
• Monitor utilization, deadlines, and timesheets; communicate with clients as needed.
