Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in Texas. The ideal candidate will develop and manage CPM schedules in Primavera P6 across design and construction phases, and partner with project teams to forecast risks and deliver reliable schedules.

Responsibilities include baselining schedules, analyzing variances, performing time impact analyses, and supporting recovery planning for complex client programs in the Texas market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience developing and managing CPM schedules in Primavera.
• Power Generation/Gas turbine generation experience is required.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling principles.
• Experience with contract change order management.
• Experience with Time Impact Analyses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage CPM schedules in Primavera P6 across design and construction phases.
• Create, update, and analyze execution schedules for concurrent projects.
• Develop work breakdown structures (WBS), work packages, and activities.
• Establish baseline schedules through review of contract requirements, durations, logic, resources, and cost/resource profiles.
• Review schedule updates, generate comparison reports, and analyze variances.
• Assess schedule issues, scope changes, and delays; provide recommendations for project and executive leadership.
• Partner with project teams to identify risks and develop reliable forecasts through completion.
• Perform time impact analyses to quantify delay effects.
• Support recovery planning and conduct schedule recovery reviews.
• Conduct what-if analyses to evaluate schedule alternatives.
