Job summary

Group PMX is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to lead the planning and management of schedules for large-scale capital construction projects in New York. The role requires deep experience in commercial high-rise construction and a strong background in developing and maintaining complex project schedules using Primavera P6 and other tools.

You will collaborate with project teams to drive on-time delivery and provide critical path analyses for key decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of construction scheduling experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale capital projects.
• Experience with commercial high-rise construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong CPM scheduling knowledge.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing, project controls, and scheduling best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with project teams and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools
• Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks, and recommend corrective actions
• Perform critical path analysis and evaluate schedule impacts related to project changes and delays
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to establish milestones and sequencing plans
• Prepare schedule reports, forecasts, and executive-level presentations
• Support recovery planning, delay analysis, and schedule mitigation efforts
• Verify schedule compliance with project controls standards, contract requirements, and project objectives
• Track key project milestones and provide schedule performance updates to leadership
• Assist with resource loading and long-range planning activities
• Support overall project controls efforts for major capital construction initiatives
