Job summary

Meta is seeking an Area Schedule Lead, Leased to oversee scheduling for a portfolio of Data Center projects critical to the company. This role ensures end-to-end schedule coordination, risk management, and proactive communication with cross-functional partners to align variance root causes and commentary for on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes speed to market and requires close collaboration with the DEC Technical Operations team and various internal departments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Planning, Scheduling, Construction Management, or related field experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent technical field.
• Subject Matter Expert in Primavera P6 and/or other scheduling methodologies and software.
• Experience developing/managing an Owner’s planning/scheduling program.
• Experience with Data Center, Infrastructure or Construction programs with complex commissioning specs.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem solving, prioritization, organization and reporting skills.
• Experience leading complex project or program planning and coordination among a large group of stakeholders.
• Experience driving actions based on schedule/performance metrics.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to influence strategic direction.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end schedule coordination and updates with risk management and cross-functional alignment.
• Identify, document, and communicate schedule risks via Risk Registers and health reviews.
• Accountable for all aspects of vendor and Contractor schedule management.
• Lead contractor baseline schedule development and optimization for speed to market and on-time delivery.
• Oversee EOT requests and claims and provide guidance aligned with contracts.
• Lead proactive risk indicators and escalations to health reviews and ad-hoc analyses.
• Lead a small team of consultants to support schedule management.
• Travel approximately 25-50% to other Data Center sites and Meta offices.
