Job summary

NYC Department of Environmental Protection seeks an Administrative Construction Project Manager M2 to join the PMO in BEDC. The Schedule Controls Manager will oversee project time and cost schedules, coordinate with agencies, contractors, and internal teams to ensure on-time completion of capital projects valued in the billions.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include full-time construction inspection on capital projects (≥ $300,000).
• Journeyperson in one or more skilled building trades (with up to 4 years credit).
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil, electrical, mechanical, sanitary or related engineering fields.
• NYS professional engineer or architect license or reciprocity with NYS plus 6+ years in construction management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of the enterprise project management information system (ePMIS) and schedules.
• Determine and coordinate activities among agencies, contractors, and departments.
• Review schedules, reports, and orders to ensure conformance with completion dates.
• Advise client agencies on project needs, options, and consequences.
• Monitor performance, resolve schedule/cost issues, and prepare management reports.
