Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or a related field with 2+ years in formulation processing development or manufacturing
• Working knowledge of formulation processing, scale-up activities, risk assessment, and PLM
• Strong project and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to analyze data and make actionable recommendations
• Strong communication of technical concepts to cross-functional audiences
• Experience building cross-functional partnerships to drive improvement
• Commitment to HSE standards and sustainable technologies

Responsibilities

• Support Safety and Compliance requirements; follow Syngenta safety policies
• Scale-up formulation processes from lab to full-scale manufacturing with safety and environmental focus
• Troubleshoot process issues and provide engineering solutions to manufacturing
• Lead inter-site technology transfer and start-up activities for new processes and equipment
• Design pilot plant and full-scale trials; document procedures and train teams
• Apply formulation engineering knowledge to improve capacity, quality, and cost
• Serve as a technical resource for North America formulation processing
