Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a SCADA Engineer to support maintenance, integration, and upgrades of SCADA infrastructure across a large renewable energy fleet in North America, with focus on wind, solar, and storage technologies.

You will collaborate with performance analytics and control center teams, lead technical resolutions, and mentor engineers in new SCADA tools and standards. Strong experience with OEM hardware and industrial protocols is required.

Qualifications

5-8 years of industry experience supporting renewable energy generation equipment.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Serve as Subject Matter Expert for OEM hardware and software capabilities.
Collaborate with Performance Analytics and Availability Engineering to validate system modifications and maintain operation of generation equipment.
Support operating facilities and the Invenergy Control Center with upkeep/troubleshooting of field equipment.
Analyze and troubleshoot SCADA system reliability to improve performance.
Lead technical resolutions with OEMs, integrators and other engineering functions.
Work with SCADA Engineers to integrate systems and provide telemetry to external entities.
Ensure SCADA architecture scalability for additions and modifications.
Provide training/development support for engineers and site personnel.
Mentor team members on new SCADA technologies, tools, processes, and standards.
Drive contractual terms to fit organizational needs.
